Morning tea with Tsai Ing-wen

Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP; 民主進步黨) spoke to a group of foreign residents in Taipei on 23 April 2011. She outlined her vision for Taiwan and took questions from the floor. Jerome Keating seated on the right was the MC.

On 27 April 2011 the results of the DPP's presidential primary were announced. Tsai was the winner and will be the DPP's candidate in the 2012 presidential election.
