Breakaway

Breakaway in the final stage of the 2007 Tour de Taiwan Five riders broke away early in the 7th stage of the Tour de Taiwan and built a 50 second lead on the main peloton. At that time they were about to lap the peloton so the chief commissaire stopped the peloton and left the five riders two laps to decide the result. The final finishing order was:

2 Po-Hung Wu (Tpe) Chinese Taipei CKT
3 Steffen Greger (Ger) Merida Europe Team
4 Matthew Crane (USA) Health Net Presented By Maxxis
5 Darren Lapthorne (Aus) Drapac Porsche
