This sign in Tainan is a total mess!!! This sign is a total mess!!! It contains a peculiar mixture of numerals, English and Tongyong Pinyin. The English word has a spelling mistake.

It is unusual that part of the temple's name has been translated into numerals and English while the other part has been written in Pinyin.

Also the English written sideways down the sign is very difficult to read.

A better way to write the sign would be "Si Cao Dazhong Temple".
